Minutes of Commission meeting held on June 5, 2007.
Present: Mary vandenBerg, Chairperson, Steven Anderstrom, Patricia Caron and Rolf Hilbig. Absent: Howard Fife, Kathleen McGrory and James Wettlaufer.
7:00 p.m. Chairperson called the meeting to order.
7:05 p.m. Minutes of Commission Meeting held on May 22, 2007 were read and accepted and will be distributed.
Mail:
We received from Lee Lyman of Lycott Environmental Engineering, notification of the scheduled treatment to Hamilton Reservoir for the management of aquatic vegetation for Wednesday, June 13, 2007. A poster has been sent to James Wettlaufer via e-mail for distribution.
Agent Howard Fife reported by e-mail having done a site visit of lot 2, addressStreetMashapaug Rd. Setback for the septic system was as depicted on the plans and silt fences in place.
7:30 p.m. Mr. and Mrs. Wyszomirski of 5 Candlewood Court owns 20 feet of property along Hamilton Reservoir and spoke of their concerns regarding the erosion and washout of debris coming from the adjacent property owned by Warren Kenniston of 14 Candlewood Dr. A site visit was scheduled for Saturday, June 9, 2007 at 8:30 p.m.
8:00 p.m. Procedure Sheet #2006-1172 issued to Jeff Flannery of addressStreet18 Craig Rd., Map R-212-A-10, Lot No. 43 who is adding on a 9 foot addition to the back of his house. Motion was made to accept the project. All were in favor. Procedure Sheet signed by Mary vandenBerg with the condition that a silt fence be placed on sides of new construction.
8:15 p.m. Andy Cormier, Jr. of Escape Estates represented Mr. Garrett of placeLot 1, addressStreetMashapaug Rd. who would like to clear a few trees for placing his dock on Hamilton Reservoir. Following discussion, Mr. Cormier said he would be speaking with and getting more specific cutting plans from Mr. Garrett.
Motion to adjourn was made, seconded and approved by all. Meeting adjourned at 8:30 p.m.
